Christmas & Craftivities

This weekend we took Little Man to see the Big Guy in Red!  Weaver's - our local department store - has a Santa the visits every Saturday & Sunday afternoon in the month of December.  He actually lands on the roof of Weaver's before the Old Fashioned Parade every year, but we missed that, there's always next year!  Reid did surprisingly well meeting Santa.  He gave him the stink eye for a bit but slowly warmed up to him as he offered candy (we'll have to work on the whole taking candy from strangers thing...).  He even let Santa hold him for a quick picture.  It's not the best quality, but the Husband was taking video of the whole thing, so watch for that!

After the Santa visit we finished up some Christmas shopping then headed home.
Getting comfy while I was shopping.

Today we did craftivities!  I did a little Christmas baking and then Reid and I made some Christmas Cards - one of which will be going to Miss Sharon (his daycare).  We got her a bunch of pedicure stuff, so I thought this was fitting :)

We started with Blueberries as a snack to distract him while I was painting his feet...  It didn't really distract him...

Can't get enough of these 'Mistle Toes'

Here are some of his other masterpieces!

Blueberry Break

Paint break?

Don't worry, I made the paint from a pinterest recipe - completely edible and stains most everything...  After bath his mouth was still tinted blue, so I may have to explain that one at daycare tomorrow!
Happy last week before Christmas!

I'm gonna be sick.

WHAT. IS. MY. DEAL.

So a few weeks ago this happened.

Last night I left this Liquid Gold in my bag...
OVER. NIGHT.

Yep you saw that correctly.  That is nearly TWELVE OUNCES.  All of which I have to FORCE myself to pour down the drain.

SERIOUSLY?!
I did a lot of Google searches today hoping to find SOMETHING that said it was still good.   Unfortunately when you lose your brain and leave it out all night chances are it's spoiled.  So I opened them tonight and about threw up as my nostril hairs were scorched with the smell of ROTTEN MILK!

I have no words.
I just want to cry.
This sucks.

Family Pictures

WHOA!  4 Blogs in ONE WEEK??  I know I'm in shock too!  I really have no idea this happened.

So an entire MONTH ago, we got our family pictures taken and I'm just now getting around to sharing them with you!  Oh well, we hooked up with Nicole Bobey Photography at the Stony Point Reception Hall near Vinland.  This place was SO SO adorable, the photo options were END.LESS.  Nicole did such an awesome job on our photos, couldn't be happier!  Here are a few of my favorites, you can also go here to order your own copies if you'd like!

This beast was a nervous wreck!  We took a few pictures with her then we put her in the car and rolled the window down while we finished up.  Well it only took about 5 min and she was sprinting hobbling up the hill towards us.  The crazy dog jumped OUT of the car window and came to be with us, in doing so she did something to her leg and was thus limping.  She's okay now but good grief she is a hot mess!

One last note - back by popular demand is a guide for what Little Man needs/wants for Christmas!  Many of you thought it was really helpful for his B-Day, so we decided to do it again!

Don't Cry Over Spilled Milk

Whoever came up with this stupid saying was NOT a breast-feeding mom.  In fact it was probably a man.

Born in a Barn?

DISCLAIMER:  This is NOT an admission of guilt!
So The Husband is always telling me to shut the cabinet doors.  Apparently when I'm cooking I'm always leaving them open and he runs into them or hits his head on them, I don't really see how that's my fault...  Well now its carrying over to the Little Man...  See for yourself.

I Mustache You to Read

Little Man turned ONE!!!
We started the day with his favorite, bananas and blueberries.
Lunch was another favorite, spaghetti and meatballs

That afternoon, Grammie and Grandpa Boone, Uncle Jordan, Uncle Jared & Aunt (to be) Mandie got here and we had another of his favorites - Lasagna!  He likes tomato sauce if you didn't pick that up!  He got to open presents after dinner as well.  We got him a Mega Blocks Table which was a hit!

The big kids liked it too

He moved his party ON the table when the big kids started to get carried away!

He got a Rockin Giraffe from Uncle Jared & Aunt Mandie and a Cozy Coupe from Grammie, Grandpa & Uncle Jordan.

It was so funny watching everyone put the Cozy Coupe together, he wanted to be in the middle of it and literally sat in the car as they assembled it!

Miss B found a spot out of the way...

To celebrate we invited over some Little Ones and their parents for a Mustache Bash :)
The Spread

Mustache Brownies

The Smash Cake and the Cupcakes

Opening presents with the help of his friends!

He wasn't ever interested in the present that was currently being opened.  He really wanted to play with the one that he just opened!

Organized Chaos??

The little things :)

Stimulus Overload!

Time for cake!

Happy Birthday My Little Man

He decided he needed a mustache too!

Maybe a goatee would be better?

I can't believe they are letting me do this!!

It was straight to the bath after this, then more playtime before everyone took off.

Thankyou everyone for coming to help celebrate our Little Man!  We couldn't have asked for a better group of people to celebrate him with!

Last but definitely not least, The Husband made a little video from the party!  Hope you enjoyed the picture overload! :)
