Little of This... Little of That

We've been so busy lately!!  I have been ok on taking pictures with all of our excitement, so I'll share  what we've got!  The Husband and I went to a Styx, Ted Nyugent and REO Speed-Wagon Concert with Randine and Tray earlier in May.

Reid and I braved two weekends alone without dad this month. The first weekend in May the Husband was off on senior trip with the school and Grammie Boone came to visit!  The third weekend in May we went to Hays to see Jared graduate from Fort Hays while the Husband was speaking at his schools graduation.

The Graduate and his proud parents!

I don't want to get out of bed...

The Husband has had an amazing year at school!  He won Teacher of the Year, made great strides in developing his video program, among so many other things!  Tot top it off, he was voted by the senior class to speak at graduation. He decided to change it up a bit and do a skit with one of his seniors...  Here is the video below!

This weekend we celebrated the Husband's Mom and Dad's 40th wedding anniversary. I have not seen Renelle and Chrisan for a long time and it was nice to see them and their families! Along with the immediate family were Bill and Doris's extended family. On Saturday morning Bill rented out a train in Baldwin and he was super excited about the whole thing! The station was getting ready for a Thomas the train weekend so when Reid gets old enough we will have to take him. After the train ride we spent the rest of the day at B&D's house hanging out with family.

For the family, below is a link to all the group pictures we took on Saturday. If you are having problems getting the pictures just send me a message. All the pictures in the dropbox folder are the original raw photos.

The Husband also had his camera going during the weekend to create a video. Check it out below:

Latest family photo, Bailey and Reid were really good all day!
Chrisan is so funny with Reid. I wish I had a picture of her when Nathan made her watch a diaper change and then put on Reid's outfit after he had a major blowout!
What an amazing couple!
All of the cousins that could make it on the Lund side.
All the family that was present.
Lund family
Dennis Lunds family
Robinson family - notice the guy in the background on the right conveniently located next to Randine? Soon he won't be photo-bombing the family photo, but rather purposely in the family photo!!!  :)

Hope you all have had a fantastic Memorial Day Weekend!  Ours was filled to the brim and we are exhausted now!

Baby Reid,

I can't begin to tell you how fast the last 6 months has flown by!  You have brought so much joy to our lives during these 6 months.  Watching you figure out your surroundings and watching your little personality develop brings so much joy to my heart!  Everyone is always asking us - "Is he ALWAYS this happy?"  Everytime we have no choice but to say YES!  You are so relaxed and you go with the flow whether that means running errands with mommy all day, playing golf with daddy or just lounging at home.

You have two favorite things... Miss B & being outside!  Unfortunately Miss B doesn't quite reciprocate your adoration - yet!  She is slowly warming up to you but I must stress the word SLOWLY.  Being outside however is much easier to accommodate.  In fact we spent nearly all day on our first Mother's Day outside!  You played and played in your very own tent while mommy and daddy planted flowers and the veggie garden.  You even napped outside!  My first Mother's Day definitely goes down as one of the best days ever in my book!

You started out completely dependant upon us and now just 6 short months later you are movin' and groovin' all over the place!  While you haven't started to truely crawl, you've got the army crawl down pat!  I officially cannot leave you on the bed alone anymore - just yesterday I left you there - still sleeping mind you - to get some coffee.  When I came back you were awake and at the edge of the bed looking down!  After I restarted my heart, I scooped you up and you just giggled!!  How I love to hear that sound - I can be having one of the worst days ever, but your little 'ahhh' followed by a giggle can totally melt my heart and turn my frown upside down!  I love you from the bottom of my heart Baby Reid.  Some day - much too soon - I'm not going to be able to call you Baby Reid anymore.  I'm going to have a really hard time with this so I'll apologize now for calling you Baby Reid at your High School Graduation...

You have slept through the night a handful of times, but on average you are waking about 1-2 X per night to nurse.  Originally the thought of waking throughout the night stressed me out, but now I cherish these middle of the night feedings.  I know they are going to come to a close all too soon, but for now that is our snuggle time.

Baby Reid, you will always be my Little Man, Baby Boy, Chunky Monkey and the list goes on, but most of all you will always be My Baby Boy Reid.  I love you and am SO blessed to be your Momma.  Please never forget how much I. Love. You.
