This weekend we took Little Man to see the Big Guy in Red! Weaver's - our local department store - has a Santa the visits every Saturday & Sunday afternoon in the month of December. He actually lands on the roof of Weaver's before the Old Fashioned Parade every year, but we missed that, there's always next year! Reid did surprisingly well meeting Santa. He gave him the stink eye for a bit but slowly warmed up to him as he offered candy (we'll have to work on the whole taking candy from strangers thing...). He even let Santa hold him for a quick picture. It's not the best quality, but the Husband was taking video of the whole thing, so watch for that!
After the Santa visit we finished up some Christmas shopping then headed home.
Getting comfy while I was shopping.
Today we did craftivities! I did a little Christmas baking and then Reid and I made some Christmas Cards - one of which will be going to Miss Sharon (his daycare). We got her a bunch of pedicure stuff, so I thought this was fitting :)
We started with Blueberries as a snack to distract him while I was painting his feet... It didn't really distract him...
Can't get enough of these 'Mistle Toes'
Here are some of his other masterpieces!
Blueberry Break
Paint break?
Don't worry, I made the paint from a pinterest recipe - completely edible and stains most everything... After bath his mouth was still tinted blue, so I may have to explain that one at daycare tomorrow!
Happy last week before Christmas!
